Being part of the Columbia, MO, community for the last 30-plus years allows him to understand the unique needs of the people and communities that call the area home. Understanding all facets of his clients’ financial picture to create a comprehensive, long-term financial plan tailored to meet those unique needs is J.D.’s top priority. He measures success by his client’s ability to achieve their savings, retirement, and wealth management goals, and he cherishes the relationships that form with his clients over time. Spending 25 years in the retail automotive industry prior to wealth management, J.D. is most impacted when he can help clients finish in a better position than they started. Away from the office, J.D. and his wife enjoy farmers’ markets, dinner with friends, and day trips to the small towns in Missouri. He and his wife raised four sons and recently welcomed their first grandchild. After a long hiatus, J.D. has rediscovered his love of golf.
